Shows- as the title suggests - the ArctIc Regions, though not the Pole itself. The farthest of Arctic Expeditions 1875-6 is marked. This was led by Sir George Strong Nares. Though the expedition failed to reach the North Pole the coasts of Greenland and Ellesmere Island were throughly explored and much scientific data collected.
