The main map shows the River Thames and its system of docks from Tower Bridge in the West to Woolwich Reach in the East. Inset maps show the Port of London between London Bridge and Tilbury Docks with 'soundings in feet at Low Water Spring Tides', Tilbury Docks, and a list of docks.'A wonderful map showing the London docks in their heyday, before WW2 bombing, modern development and containerisation led to their demise.
