“Stephen Moreton-Prichard's initial career was in the army but in 1960 he picked up his first professional camera and spent the next 38 years capturing on film a wide variety of subjects for a wide variety of clients. Buildings were speciality but portraiture was to come later when, in 1969, Ewan Hooper’s dream of opening the Greenwich theatre came to reality. Pre-opening photographs were needed, and Steven answered the call magnificently. He was to enjoy a long relationship with Greenwich, not only recording progress as the building came to life but by being there for dress rehearsals of each production, producing photographs for the front of house displays and publicity stills.
