In generally good condition overall; colour good and still bright; split at centre left repaired and reinforced with acid-free tape; some evidence of staining along horizontal centre due to old glue used in tipping-in.
The full title reads: 'A NEW MAP of IRELAND Compiled from ACTUAL SURVEYS, and regulated by the latest Astronomical Observations. By Joseph Enouy. The map shows the Provinces, cities, towns, villages, 'great roads' and 'cross roads', rivers and canals of the country. Longitude is measured from London; a note explains the political representation in the Parliament of the UK; Two scales are given: English and Irish Miles.
